Charlie Limm

March 31 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Charlie is a Bristol-based musician, composer and actor who writes original folk songs with beautifully haunting vocals, guitar and flute, drawing influence from the female folk artists of the 70’s. She released her second solo EP ‘Falling Every Time’ in 2022 which was featured on BBC Radio Bristol as the Big New Sound of the week.

She is also a member of the folk/country duo Patchwork Skies and works as an Actor-Musician in theatre.

“Songs from the top drawer…beautiful engaging storytelling and vocals.”

Dick Philpot, The Sound Lounge 2022

” A beauty of a track, earthy, folky, brings nature to the fore…beautifully delicate vocals. You can feel the folky history embedded in the track.”

Adam Crowther, BBC Radio Bristol, 2022

“Infused with classic 70’s folk vibes, Charlie Limm is everything you need…a high delicate voice with a talent for storytelling, Charlie charms everyone in the place. “

Downend Folk Club, 2019

“Unashamedly in thrall to ‘70s singer songwriters…there are echoes of Stevie Nicks, Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt in her four songs…they are literary, wordy and complex, a showcase for her versatile voice. “

Gavin Mcnamara, 2022
