Lunchtime Pilates – Beginners to Intermediate

An event every week that begins at 12:30 pm on Monday, repeating until 29th June 2020
Combine the focus on suppleness found in yoga with the strength building found in the gym.
Start the week with a bit of Monday Motivation with the lovely Tracy, a Certified Pilates Instructor, qualified to teach Beginner to Advanced levels mat-work and Equipment. Tracy’s personal experience with Pilates began with lumbar disc issues and associated lower back pain, leg pain, numbness and weakness. Twice weekly Pilates’ sessions and learning an awareness of neutral alignment of the spine and strengthening the deep postural muscles that support this alignment led her to be pain free.
Pilates has also been the natural progression to Tracy’s working as a Sports Massage Therapist at Bath Universities, Sports Injury Clinic, in order to offer clients strength and conditioning movements to assist with their recovery from back pain and other injuries. This Monday beginner to intermediate class is perfect for those wishing to start on the road to recovery or those who have already started on the journey and wish to progress to the next level.
