Mumma and Baby Pilates – baby comes too

An event every week that begins at 9:45 am on Tuesday, repeating until 30th June 2020
Combine the suppleness found in yoga with the strength building found in the gym with a focus on Pelvic Floor and building core strength and lean muscle.
This special class for mother and baby is with the lovely Tracy, a Certified Pilates Instructor, qualified to teach Beginner to Advanced levels mat-work and Equipment. Tracy’s personal experience with Pilates began with lumbar disc issues and associated lower back pain, leg pain, numbness and weakness. Twice weekly Pilates’ sessions and learning an awareness of neutral alignment of the spine and strengthening the deep postural muscles that support this alignment led her to be pain free.
Pilates has also been the natural progression to Tracy’s working as a Sports Massage Therapist at Bath Universities, Sports Injury Clinic, in order to offer clients strength and conditioning movements to assist with their recovery from back pain and other injuries. This mothers and baby class is perfect for those wishing to get back into condition following birth, while increasing strength and the pelvic floor.
