We’re thrilled to welcome Bethany Ley back to The Living Room for a very special performance. A rising force in the UK music scene, Ley’s work is a captivating evolution in progress — don’t miss this chance to witness it live.
Based in Bristol, Bethany Ley is a producer, composer, and vocalist whose intricate soundscapes reflect a rich classical foundation fused with bold electronic experimentation. Trained in piano, viola, and voice, their music moves fluidly between classical, folk, and contemporary electronica.
Ley has toured and recorded with acclaimed acts including Ishmael Ensemble (BBC Radio 6 Album of the Year), Snazzback, Waldo’s Gift, and Alabaster DePlume, with standout performances at Southbank Centre, Glastonbury Festival’s West Holts Stage, and The Jazz Café.
Their debut EP Sundial, released on Lo Recordings in May 2024, weaves together electronica, field recordings, and Gamelan influences, earning praise and airplay on BBC Radio 6. Critics have described their music as “digital gardens” and “immersive soundworlds” (The Tonearm) — a hypnotic blend of modern textures and timeless traditions.
