We’re beyond excited to welcome the extraordinary Seaming To to The Living Room for a truly unmissable performance.
Described by BBC Radio 1 as “the voice of the 21st century,” Seaming To is a London-born composer, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer whose work defies easy categorisation. Trained at the Royal Northern College of Music and raised in a family of concert pianists, she first gained acclaim performing with Homelife (Ninja Tune) and Graham Massey’s Toolshed.
A fearless experimenter, Seaming has collaborated with groundbreaking artists across electronic, classical, and avant-garde music, including Robert Wyatt, The Cinematic Orchestra, Jean-Claude Vannier, Punchdrunk Theatre, and Leila (Warp). Her compositions have featured in film, theatre, and gallery installations, with performances at venues such as Southbank Centre, Tate Modern, Barbican, and MoMA in New York.
Her discography includes Sodaslow EP, Mermaid EP, Seaming (Lumin), Natural Process EP (Lo Recordings), and her acclaimed second solo album Dust Gatherers (OSingAtMe Recordings).
With a voice as versatile as it is haunting, Seaming To creates work that is emotionally rich, sonically daring, and unlike anything else on the scene.
“An astonishing vocalist of haunting emotional power” – The Guardian
“One of the most captivating and unclassifiable performers on the scene” – Financial Times
“The experience she offers you is always a thrilling one” – The Quietus
