The Wicky Wah Wahs are Nina Sawicka (vocals, guitar) and Henry Slim (harmonica, vocals).
Born fully formed from the fertile soil of a quiet Bristol farm in the spring of 2011, they were taken in by a kindly old mushroom farmer. He raised them as his own, gifting them instruments, teaching them the ways of music, the English tongue, and, crucially, nine different ways to cook mushrooms.
Years passed, and with a wistful tear in his eye, he set them free—off to the city to seek their fortune.
Expect a rich blend of folk, country, and blues, weaving together beloved standards and heartfelt originals.
