Yoga for Hot Women

Our Thursday morning yoga classes are with Emma Reynolds, a Hatha yoga instructor who is passionate about the positive effects the discipline has on every body and every mind.
Yoga for Hot Women provides classes that are supportive and friendly! Sessions are gentle and restorative and concentrate on poses that help with balancing the hormones and calming the parasympathetic nervous system. Aimed primarily at menopausal women the classes, in reality support a range of age ranges and abilities. Pococks Living Room above the pub is a beautiful space with a rare ornate Jacobean plaster ceiling, perfect for meditating upon. The room is filled with light and classes are a max of 6 people under current social distancing guidelines.
Originally from London, Emma has practised yoga for many years, having been originally trained as a Montessori teacher and has worked with children all her life. Classes are friendly and welcoming, with a relaxed atmosphere, teaching a restorative flow. We all recognise certain yoga poses and the beautiful shapes a body can make, but Emma believes yoga is so much more. The joining of mind and body to ease the stresses and strain of modern life and to achieve inner calm.
