29 Aug Sept 14th – History of Bath’s Boozers
As part of Heritage Open Day, we are opening our Jacobean Living Room for an evening with Kirsten Elliott, local historian and author of the wonderful Lost Pubs of Bath.
Starting at 6pm there is limited space and not that many tickets left but do head over to our Facebook page to book your space or request to join the waiting list. You will of course also here some of the fascinating history of The Grapes while you’re here that Kirsten has been piecing together over the years and more so recently on visits while we were carrying out the renovation works.
The Jacobean Living Room is one of Bath’s finest examples of a lime plaster ceiling which has recently been restored and on the way up the stairs you will also see a fine, intact C17th Dog Gate.
The room only has space for around 30 standing, so please book your space early on a first come first served basis and we look forward to welcoming you to The Grapes.
