Come down to the Grapes for this Friday night special!

Salt Beef Rueben – is a band that grew from the weekly jazz jam at The Grapes. Originally a trio comprised of guitar bass and keyboard the lineup has been bolstered with the addition of drums and tenor sax.

Featuring some of the sexiest musicians coming out of Bath and South East London, this collective performs a variety of repertoire from the jazz tradition, including – but not limited to – trad, gypsy, bossa nova and good ol’ fashioned swing. Their use of electric instruments adds a modern twist to a classic sound, which they call ‘Electric Trad’.

Salt Beef Rueben has been described as: ‘zesty!’, ‘energetic’ and ‘as crisp as a pinecone that has been soaked in liquid nitrogen’.
