Rowan Flack is a jazz and folk-influenced vocalist and composer, whose path spans the BRIT School, Trinity Laban and Norway’s Edvard Grieg Academy.
Described by Jazz FM’s Simon Phillips as an artist “making all the right noises,” her music has been praised by CLASH for “blending folk textures with the nimble technicalities of jazz, producing a sound that is bittersweet but oh-so melodic.”
She has released three critically acclaimed EPs, performed at venues such as Pizza Express Jazz Club, Alfie's (Soho), USF Verftet (Norway), House of KOKO and Mr Wolf’s (Bristol), and appeared at UK Festivals such as Shindig, Herne Hill Music Festival, Bankside Open Spaces and Bloomsbury Festival.
Alongside performing, she works in radio, regularly contributing to One Jazz and previously working for BBC Radio 3 programmes, including Late Junction, Music Planet and Unclassified.
