Introduce yourself and tell us about what makes you tick
On a mission to creatively use what gets thrown away. Fabric, kebab skewers, electrical cables…. I love playing with weird materials and working out ways to make them useful again.

Taught English abroad for many years (Turkey, Estonia and Latvia) then returned to the UK. I was an Exams Officer +tested foreign students’ levels of English to work/study here.
What’s the best thing about working here?
Fun people at the bar and behind it.
What’s the worst thing about working here?
Sometimes too many fun people.
Do you make, sell or create anything outside of work?
I upcycle bicycle inner tubes into bags and pouches and have had market stalls in Bath and Bristol. I’m based at Bath Artists’ Studios and am part of a group creating art in response to the ancient site and stones of Avebury. We’re exhibiting our work at Pound Arts in Corsham from August to September 2022.
