Something a little different in the Living Room this June.
Fox and Star Books, a small independent press dedicated to new poetry, brings its debut chapbook launch to The Grapes. June Wentland, winner of the Fox and Star prize, reads from The Factory of Light in an intimate evening open to anyone with a love of words.
The Factory of Light is Wentland's first collection. The cover alone gives a sense of what's inside: light filtered through leaves, shadows on old stone, the quiet strangeness of the everyday.
Copies of the chapbook will be available to buy on the night. There are no tickets and no charge for the evening, though a donation to Mind would be warmly received.
